Last year one of our fellow Lib Dem Councillors, Tamsin, arranged for three verges in WelHat to be used as trial areas for a meadow management approach. They are cut once a year to encourage wildflowers and the pollinating insects who need them. We have acres of such land in our Borough and they can play a vital part in improving biodiversity if managed sensitively.
