As Councillors we are always knocking on doors asking if people have any concerns in Welham Green and Hatfield South. We have been round the whole area about one a half times since August 17. We deal with lots of enquiries and requests for help on a daily basis from residents but we only begin canvassing about 6 weeks before the actual election (May 3rd this year). Today we have been round Huggins Lane and Frowick Close and the reception on the doorsteps was fantastic for both Helen, who is seeking re-election and our new candidate Jaida who is standing for Tom’s seat following his relocation up to Northumberland.
